Mewv,
a new plus size sustainable fashion line, debuting this December,
is looking for it's signature model.
They want a skorch'n model who can own the catwalk and the camera.
They have partnered with SKORCH
Magazine to launch a nationwide model hunt, we'll be going to NY,
LA, and Portland, OR to find our girl! Just
for coming out, you'll receive special discounts for our host retailer
and MEWV fashion!! Unlike
other model
calls, there is NO fee to enter this one!
So grab your girls, practice your MEWV's, and show us what you got!
* Finalists will have their runway walk video-taped.
* Your pictures will be taken by a known industry photographer in
our SKORCH photo booth.
* Picking top 5 from each city for a totoal of 15 finalists.
* We'll put the top 15 on skorchmagazine.com for for readers and
judges to vote. Reader votes count for
50%. Other 50% is from our panel of industry judges.
* 1 lucky winner will secure a national advertising
campaign contract for MEWV Sustainables and be flown to
Portland, OR, accomodations provided, and shoot a full fashion editorial

1st Model Hunt. Event was held at the Portland, OR Lloyd Center
Torrid Store. Attendance topped 200! Our amazing crew included,

Models, Miranda Walz- February Cover Girl, Carrie Woomer, and Zoe.

SKORCH Magazine Appeared on AM NORTHWEST
Jessica and Carrie were asked to appear on the morning television
show “AM Northwest” on February 20, 2007. Skorch Magazine
brought four gorgeous models with us, to show the common fashion
mistakes that a lot of full figured women do, and solutions for
